Every face I see turns into my mother’s
A daughter who was the source of hope for her mother died. She struggled in a life of hell as whatever face she saw turned into her mother’s. What made her fall into misery? Her mother was the only witness, but as the mother’s memory slipped away, the cruel truth unwittingly faded away, too. A daughter and a mother wanted to stay away from each other. In such agony, painfully twisted relationship among a daughter, a mother and the others saddens us.

Audience Review on its Reading Performance last year -“Twist of the story strikes our hearts”
National Theater Company Of Korea’s project on Original Play Writing Initiative compelled writer Bitna Lim to come up with a play titled “Face Stealer.” Reading performance of the play alone captivated the hearts of audience. A tragedy that sheds light on mother-daughter relationship fills the void of stage with sharp but sophisticated words. It is not just about going beyond the transient moment of fear, but about finding who you are and what you are missing.
