Innovative Shakespeare by Tim Crouch!
He will make you forget all other Shakespeares you have encountered so far!
Tim Crouch is an innovator in the world of the U.K.'s theater who is the stark opposite of monotony and listlessness. <I, Malvolio>, a monologue written and performed by this maestro of fringe theater, has been staged in the U.K., the U.S. and Australia, and is finally coming to Korea. <I, Malvolio> is a segment from <I, Shakespeare>, a series of modern interpretation of the classic works of Shakespeare. The play revolves around "Malvolio," a character regarded as a villain from <The Twelfth Night>, as the main character and provides him with an opportunity for vengeance, which was failed in the original. Crouch's forte is well demonstrated in <I, Malvolio> as he shakes up the audience with his dazzling humor, all the while enlightening them with a keen insight on life.
You will face Malvolio, who in a ludicrous look, flaunts that he will take revenge on each and everyone in the audience. And within mere 60 minutes, the audience will create a whole new and innovative Shakespeare with him.
"I am not crazy... the world must know this."
A stubborn Puritan Malvolio from <The Twelfth Night> has made an ambitious return, who was once tricked by the people around him to seek the love of Olivia, the heroine, and ended up disgracing himself. Before storming off, he cried, "Vengeance is mine!" We now find out that his life has a string of untold stories. Now that he has reappeared in front of those who had made him a villain, can the seemingly ill-fated story end with a smile?
