This Is Your Home, the winner of the grand prize at the Korea Theater Awards comes to Myeongdong stage. The phenomenal play was also selected as one of the 'Best 7' among theater shows performed in 2013 by the Korea Theater Magazine.

The playwright/director Woojae JANG has been in the spotlight with his socially conscious plays such as The Train Came From the Past and An Angry American Man. This remount production of This Is Your Home at Myeongdong Theater includes new cast members including YOON Sanghwa who was powerful Brutus in last year's production of Julius Caesar.

Synopsis

Gapja Gosiwon is a very tired and run-down accommodation for cheap long stays. The rent is extraordinary low thanks to the generous and very old landlord. Unlike other cheap boarding houses, Gapja Gosiwon's lodgers are more like house-mates and they even have regular roll calls. One day, a 20-year-old highschool boy suddenly turns up and insists that he is the new landlord. He declares that he is not going to collect rent any more because he wants to be the breadwinner for all the house-mates. The boy continuously surprises the lodgers with his somewhat bizarre suggestions how to run the house. People don't buy the young landlord's ideas at first, but, this young landlord's extraordinary suggestions bring in little bits of happiness and hopes to the house-mates.
