This production marked the final destination of Korea-UK TYA Project, launched as part of the 2014 Young Artists’ Exploration and designed to promote collaboration between Korean and British playwrights. The Korean-language premiere in 2016 was followed by a co-production among TYA Research Center of NTCK, UK’s Birmingham Repertory Theatre, and Hanyong Theatre in 2018; it was performed in both Korea and the UK. The boy is alone in an apartment in the UK. His mother is an immigrant who works nonstop. Inevitably, he is left on his own most of the time. The girl is in an apartment in Korea. She lives with her grandmother, because her mother left her when she was little. She, too, spends most of her time alone. As the two teenagers drift about like pieces of ice, they start sensing each other’s existence. Soon, things spiral out of control, and they find themselves in a mysterious place. The multinational nature of the cast meant that the two languages co-existed and became tangled, adding to the intensity of the performance. Each stranded on a glacier, the two youngsters embark upon a journey to find their own coordinates.

In 2016, Jean Lambert-wild (France) and Lorenzo Malaguerra (Switzerland) had staged the apocalyptic play Roberto Zucco at Myeongdong Theater in collaboration with NTCK. They returned to Korea with one of their representative works, RICHARD III - LOYAULTÉ ME LIE. In this play, the physical deformity of Richard III—symbolic of his crooked mind—gives way to a white-faced clown in pajamas. In Seoul, Jean Lambert-wild transformed himself into a white clown, and vividly portrayed the emotionally stunted monarch consumed by madness. Opposite him, Laure Wolf played dozens of different characters, winning the hearts of the audience. The ingenious stage design and visual effects, which can be said to be a third member of the cast, projected the two co-directors’ dramatic imagination and further enchanted the audience.
